The NYBKW Charitable Foundation was founded as a registered 501(c)(3) charity several years ago after the partners and staff at NYBKW decided to formalize their already very serious commitment to "caring about others."
Foundation President Barry Berg explains, "At NYBKW, we are a group of professionals serving our clients day in and day out. We realized that behind the numbers and spreadsheets, we were really all about C-A-R-I-N-G. Plain and simple. We care about our clients. We care about our staff. We care about our community. We care about our environment. So when we formed the NYBKW Charitable Foundation, it was a natural extension of our commitment to caring.
Our mission statement is to improve the welfare of men, women, and children, especially on Long Island. The theme for our foundation is 'NYBKW Accountants that Care.'"
Over the years, NYBKW partners and staff have volunteered, run, walked, collected, distributed, raised, cooked, cleaned, built, and even hopped for a multitude of good causes including:
